Jon Dudding from Uptime Solutions would like the ability to add, delete, and/or modify Call Handlers for Unity Connection Templates.
As per the client:
"I know that remote call handler manipulation can be completed via the ODBC proxy service with tools such as "AudioText Manager" but there is no mechanism in that tool that can be used to assign granular permissions like we are currently using with aPM. We have a multi-tenanted cluster and have restricted access to individual site admins based on their CUCM Device Pools and CUC Class of Service memberships. Everything is working great but Call Handler manipulation is now our most frequent request."
Client Westfield Group is also requesting the ability to allow editing of Call Handlers in the Self Service Portal:
We would need APM to provide security to allow specific users to edit to certain Call Handlers. Current CUC security gives a user the ability to edit all Call Handlers.
We would also like to see the ability to limit which aspects of a Call Handler the user can change.
Use case: We have a few business units that change their hours regularly. We would like them to be able to change the active schedule on the Call Handler.
Client NYU Langone is also requesting the ability to change the Active Schedule on Unity Call Handlers in order to accommodate office hours changes due to inclement weather. There are dozens of call handlers we change each time. It would be awesome to be able to modify the Active Schedule via an APM job.
Client, NetConnex, also requesting this and to include "wav file uploading, holiday schedule editing"
